► European Society of International Law Annual Conference, to be held September 7-9, 2017, at the University of Naples ‘Federico II,’ in Naples, Italy; travel grants available. Theme is “Global Public Goods, Global Commons and Fundamental Values: The Responses of International Law.” Deadline is Jan. 31, 2017, to respond to ESIL’s call for papers and the call for interest group panel proposals. Some ESIL interest groups also have issued their own calls for this meeting:

• Feminism and International Law Interest Group (“Whose Global Public Goods, Global Commons and Fundamental Values?”) (agora proposal also available in French here); deadline Jan. 20, 2017.
• Interest Groups on International Business and Human Rights and on International Economic Law (“Public values and public goods: How do they live in the Intersection of Finance, Human Rights and International Economic Law?”); deadline Jan. 16, 2017.
• Interest Group on International Environmental Law (“Water-Energy-Food Nexus and Environmental Sustainability: Choices, Compromises and Priorities”); deadline Jan. 24, 2017.
